Fearless
and full of heart - both on and off
the pool table - Liz Ford is a Professional
Billiards Player in New York City.
Born Elisabeth Schwartzreich, Liz
is originally from Newton, Massachusetts.
Liz started playing pool while a student
at Reed College in Portland, Oregon.
Liz's talent, hard work and devotion
to the game led her to become the
Northwest Regional Tour Champion in
2000. Shortly thereafter, Liz moved
to New York with the goal of becoming
a professional player. She soon became
the number one ranked amateur player
in the Northeast US and achieved her
Touring Professional status with the
WPBA (Women's Professional Billiards
Association) in 2005.
Looking to take her game to the next
level, Liz is now competing regularly
against top male players in the Northeast
U.S., in addition to the tough competition
from the women of the WPBA tour. A
committed student of the game, she
also trains at 3-cushion billiards
and 14.1 Straight Pool.
Always ready to share her love of
the game, Liz is available for beginner
lessons, trick-shot exhibitions and
parties. |
